I went here a while back with no reservation on a busy Thursday night and they were able to seat our party of 9 within 15 minutes. After reading mixed reviews of the place my expectations weren’t very high. But, I walked away impressed with several of the dishes. Crispy calamari was mixed with pickled peppers and dill, their Hellfire chicken wings had a decent amount of heat but wasn’t overpowering, and the kettle chip nachos were a great rendition topped with corned beef, short rib, and covered in an English cheddar cheese sauce.
Entrees didn’t disappoint either. The fish in the Yorkshire ale batter fish and chips were tender and flaky with a crispy, light exterior that provided a nice contrast. My favorite dish of the night was the grilled lamb burger. An excellent burger cooked to medium as ordered with bold flavors from the curry onions, goat cheese and feta spread that topped it.
