It’s hard to miss this cute little brick building on Beverly. Sure, it looks inviting and apparently it attracts quite a crowd. We stopped by on a Saturday morning and the place was packed. So, get here early if you want a table. Otherwise, you’ll have to fight through the crowds to order and find a table either inside or out on their patio (which makes for some good people watching).
We got the matcha pistachio brioche ($1.75) and the Italian omelet ($12.45). The brioche was decent, especially the green tea and almond paste that filled the center. But, the exterior was way too hard. The omelet was delicious. Made out of egg whites with chicken basil sausage, roasted peppers, tomatoes, and mozzarella. It was big enough to share and came with a plate full of greens and 2 slices of sourdough bread. The orange juice was freshly squeezed, delicious, and almost worth the hefty price ($4.95 for a large, $3.75 for a small).
Come here for tasty (and expensive) eats, but get here early or come during off hours.
