Overrated. We figured it was a tourist trap, but thought they’d at least have good seafood. The highlight of the meal was the clam chowder that everyone raves about. It had wonderful flavor and plenty of chunks of potatoes, bacon and clams.

The wife and I split the Fisherman’s Wharf platter ($29.95). It had scallops that had no sear and even less taste, a mediocre crab cake devoid of any meatiness, a decent sized shrimp, and 1/2 of a dungeness crab that was nothing special. It was also accompanied by some rice, veggies and garnishes straight from your stereotypical seafood restaurant from decades ago. The whole platter was unimaginative, boring, and not very tasty.

The service was good and the atmosphere looks to be upscale/casual but they are still kid/family-friendly. If you want a seat overlooking the water you’ll probably have to wait a while. We got a seat right away overlooking the boardwalk area, complete with open windows, which made for some nice people watching.
