One of the best things about food truck events in Vegas is that it tends to attract food trucks from out of town — giving locals the chance to try business that they normally wouldn’t. The second annual Asian Food Festival at the Silverton a couple weeks ago was one of those events. It brought in the Vizzi Truck from Los Angeles.
I always check out reviews and a business’s website before heading to any food truck event to get an idea of what I might want to order. I was bummed to find out that they weren’t serving their wagyu sliders at the event. They had lobster sliders that sounded amazing but at $20 it was more than I felt like spending. I opted for a single kung pao chicken taco ($3.50). The flavors were bold, but a little sweet, there was a nice variety of textures, and I loved how they made the tortillas crispy. It was a solid taco all the way around and I’m looking forward to trying more of their menu the next time they’re in town.
