Attached to the Best Western in Johnson City, we dined here after arriving around 10pm. Tired from a long drive from northern Virginia to Tennessee, this was our first stop in a cross country trip with our final destination being Las Vegas.
There’s a dining area complete with typical Asian motifs; a pool table; bar; and lounge area. It was pretty busy on a Friday night and wanting to relax and unwind, we dined in the less busy dining room. The kitchen cranked out an order of gyoza that were small and basic. That was followed by the appetizer sampler, containing dry chicken satay, crab rangoon typical of a mediocre Chinese restaurant, egg rolls dominated by cabbage and little else, decent coconut shrimp, and spring rolls that were the highlight of the dish.
With a large menu full of Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Japanese fare, they do a decent job of creating popular dishes but lack the finesse in their execution to make them memorable.
