Needing a quick, small bite before heading to a show at Ham Hall on the UNLV campus, I found myself at Oodolee Sushi and Grill. This was back in early June and it wasn’t much cooler inside than it was outside. The first thing going through my head was, “I hope they’re able to keep their fish cool.” Because warm sushi is flat out gross.
I opted for their Sushi Combo ‘A’ ($12). Tuna, salmon, albacore, white fish, and shrimp nigiri with a spicy tuna roll. They use a mixture of white and forbidden rice, giving it a pinkish color. Personally, it didn’t look that appetizing, and it tasted of low quality fish and disappointment. The albacore was the best of the bunch, while everything else was largely forgettable.
