Like all other businesses at Container Park Oak and Ivy is tiny. It is, after all, housed in a shipping container. But, what it lacks in square footage it makes up in quality product. I’m not a big whiskey drinker, but I love their cocktails and extensive whiskey list. Cocktails are unique and handcrafted with precision like the Apple Pie Harvest I had a while back, or the Overnight Billionaire, a butt-kicking, strong concoction of Maker’s 46, absinthe bitters, creme de mure, and lemon.
Away from the hustle and bustle of Fremont Street, Oak and Ivy is a good reason to head east to Container Park when you’re in the mood for a chill atmosphere and great drinks.
