I visited Ohjah Noodle House a few months ago at a gathering of Instagrammers, where food was comped. Their tonkotsu ramen was pretty good — tender slices of meaty and fatty pork, with bean sprouts, scallions, mushrooms, and eggs. Their broth was thick with a good amount of pork fat throughout. Quality ramen but not quite as good as some of the top spots around town.
Appetizers were all quite good, too. Karaage was well seasoned with a crispy coating, gyoza well seasoned and nicely crafted, takoyaki ample in size and flavor, and tako wasabi that delivered a good amount of heat.
Ohjah brings yet another quality Asian spot to the southwest, bolstering the area’s growing reputation as a dining destination for Asian eats.
